Josh did a big job for my Mom and my son ( 2 different houses) and not only did an awesome job, he also explained everything he was doing well enough that I have a better understanding of how things work. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest guy.
Letting everyone know that this company helped me out when I was in need of a new boiler for my heat. He designed the copper tubing needed up the wall and hooked the new boiler up. Josh is so professional, explains everything I would need to know. Thanks Josh
Thompson HVAC is wonderful! Josh, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and responsive. He has been able to correct issues our builder did not correct and installed a steam humidifier which has increased our quality of life and protected our hardwood floors and furniture. He is very responsive and explains what is wrong, what all the options are and talks us through the decision making process. His prices are reasonable and he is very transparent about the charges. He is also very friendly and I feel completely comfortable having him in my home. I have recommended him to several friends who have also had great experiences with Thompson HVAC.
As timing typically works, I noticed my HVAC system was not blowing cold air on one of those scorching summer days. We called Thompson Heating and Cooling, and Josh was here before I knew it to diagnose our problem and get our system back up and running. While he was on site, he gave me a full rundown of what he was doing and answered my questions along the way. In addition to getting cold air moving again, he was honest in the longevity of my system and gave me a rundown of what my next steps can be so I can plan better for the future. As part of the future plan, Josh came back and installed an attic fan for us to pull warm air out of the house and compliment the work the AC does (and keep it from working so hard). This is where I got to see what a FULL install from Thompson Heating and Cooling would look like - flawless. He took great care to keep debris in the work area and had that section of the house cleaner than it was when he started his day. I am calling Thompson Heating and Cooling for all my HVAC needs - Josh knows my system, he has integrity for a job well done, and is incredibly dependable. I've shared his contact info with friends and neighbors several times with positive results.
Josh and James were the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly guy I have ever met. Not only was the work top notch they took time to educate me and just get to know me. It was a true pleasure to work with them. Josh is now my permanent HVAC guy!
Josh and company are good and honest people. They know what they’re doing and always have the best price and customer service. I’ve called Josh for my HVAC needs for years now, residential and commercial. Feels like I have a friend in the HVAC industry.
Thompson HVAC did an amazing job for us. Our furnace wouldn’t start at the beginning of the season, and Josh came out around 5 PM to fix it so we could have heat that night. He was friendly, explained what was wrong, and got everything working fast. They also installed a whole-house humidifier later on, and Josh followed up a few days after to make sure it was all working well. I highly recommend Thompson HVAC. They are dependable, professional, and really care about their customers!
Josh is terrific. He has replaced two old air conditioners and a furnace for us over the years, as well as done some electrical work. His prices are reasonable and he always shows up on time. Our furnace went out one frigid Sunday morning, of course, and he was at our house within fifteen minutes of my calling him.
I can’t say enough good things about Thompson Heating & Cooling. Josh is a straight shooter who tells you exactly what’s going on, what needs to be fixed, and what doesn’t - which is rare these days. No upselling, no games, just honest work. I’ve used him on my home in Littleton and my rental property in Arvada, and every experience has been solid. After being taken advantage of by other HVAC companies in the past, finding someone this trustworthy has been a huge relief. He shows up when he says he will, explains everything in simple terms, and charges a fair price. I honestly won’t consider calling anyone else at this point. If you want someone who actually cares about doing the job right, call Thompson Heating & Cooling. You’ll be glad you did.
Finding a reliable, professional and most important, fully knowledgeable HVAC company is often a tough task for a homeowner. Thompson (and Josh specifically) was referred to us by our Real Estate Agent as someone who'd meet our needs. Unquestionably, Josh exceeded expectations. He's always on time, knows the in's an out's of simple & complex systems, and fair/reasonable from a costing perspective. It's rare you come across someone who you immediately trust and Josh Thompson is that type of dude. He is one of the most knowledgeable people in the industry and I would put him up against anyone in the HVAC world in terms of flat-out knowing his stuff. There's also no cheesy salesmanship or any nonsense like that that you get with most other service providers in the industry. Josh is straight-up and can get the job done quickly while teaching you a few things along the way to help improve your systems. I'll be recommending Josh to everyone I can moving forward because if you're going to get a job done you might as well get it done by the best.
